Lessay is a small village in Normandy France.
Lessay is famous for it’s Lessay fair which is held every second weekend of September every year rain or shine, but to be honest it always sunny on the Lessay fair week-end.
From the varieties of animals on show to large agriculture vehicles there is something for every one to see and enjoy.
Every day they show / sell different types of animals, Friday could be farm animals then Saturday could be just horses and on Sunday lots of domestic animals, every year it’s slightly different.
There are lots of little market stalls to view along with the Bar, B,Q’s and the small fun fair for adults and children.
There is NO entry fee but parking near by in fields do charge between 3-5€ for the day which is not bad depending on how long you stay at the fair, for me as there is so many thing’s to see I tend to stay around 5 hours my-self or until my leg’s get tired then it’s time to call it a day.
