Kessingland is a medium sized seaside village, 5 miles from Lowestoft. It has a sand and shingle beach, with safe bathing, perfect for children. Private access to the beach via a concrete ramp.

Kessingland’s beach has won many awards. In 2009, it won a Quality Coast Award from the Keep Britain Tidy Organisation.

Southwold’s beaches also won a Quality Coast Award and Lowestoft’s a Blue Flag Award.
